Pramberger and Samick pianos are known to be value-driven instruments with a reputation for good quality products at reasonable prices.

Samick/ Pramberger pianos are consistently well made and use premium components to match the high level of manufacturing experience, they have building pianos for over 100 years..

History: In 1958, Joseph Pramberger started working for Steinway & Sons as a design and project engineer, later as VP of manufacturing. In 1987,

he started his own company (Pramberger Piano Ltd.), and Young Chang hired him eight years later, in 1995, to redesign their line of pianos.

After Mr. Pramberger passed away in 2003, his estate signed on with Samick. Samick and Young Chang are manufacturing a line similar to Essex pianos built by Pearl River.

Pramberger pianos features a Canadian solid spruce soundboard with many high quality components found in pianos costing 2 -3 times as much.

Samick invested considerable time and resources into designing the Pramberger piano series to offer a premium instrument. Most notably,

they consulted extensively with Steinway piano builders on the designs of these instruments.

Using old Bechstein scale designs as the blueprint and modern CNC machinery, these pianos represent some of the finer instruments coming out of Indonesia.

Components include all-maple rims, solid white Spruce Soundboards, and premium German action parts.
