Introduced in 1903, the Steinway K52 piano features a larger soundboard than many grands for a more resonant voice. It is the choice for professional players seeking a superior upright piano and is perfect for homes and apartments of all sizes.
Unlike other manufacturers that mass-produce their uprights, STEINWAY & SONS uprights are handcrafted in the same factory as their grand pianos, using the same techniques, conditioning processes, and craftsmen. The result is the world’s finest upright, living up to the STEINWAY & SONS name in every respect. The K52 or 52" upright pianos use over 125 patented features and processes, including the patented Diaphragmatic soundboard, Accelerated Action, and Hexagrip pin block. The soundboard surface area and string length are close to that of a 5'10" Steinway model O grand piano and are referred to as a Vertigrand.
This Steinway k52 Professional upright was purchased from Steinway Hall in 1985. The piano was maintained annually, and our technicians will prepare it for a concert level of performance.
