Steinway & Sons Model M, serial # 167544, has recently undergone a complete and thorough restoration. The instrument has received an all-new Steinway action, pin block, refinished soundboard, and hand-rubbed ebony satin finish. The exterior cabinet and the wooden case parts have been stripped down to the original veneer and painted in Steinway Ebony Satin.
This piano features unique brass plated hardware and Steinway logo on the fallboard.

The action has been replaced with genuine Steinway parts, including hammers, shanks, wippens, and flanges. The hammers have been voiced to create the optimal traditional Steinway sound. The sound of the Steinway M can be described as warm and inviting, with a longer sustaining tone and greater dynamic range.

A hard rock maple bulduc pin block was fitted precisely to the golden glowing cast iron plate.
All original Spruce soundboard was refinished and painted with multiple layers of high gloss varnish.

The restoration process took almost one year from start to finish, and the highest care and attention to detail were taken. Besides the parts, the most important part of a restoration is the technicians who perform the work.

All the parts and practices used in the restoration are of the highest quality to meet and exceed the standards used in today's finest Steinway pianos.
