Antique 1885 Mathushek"Orchestral" Square Grand Piano. Believed to have once been in a historical Opera House in St. Louis. Was restored by Mike Dugan of Professional Restorations.Mathusheks, although rare, are considered some of the finest piano ever made. The piano is raised on Cabriole legs with carved knees and scrolled feet. The restoration included removing entire interior, refurbishing the pinblock, restringing, replacing pedals, remastering hammers, new damper felts, recondition action, "antiquing of sound board /bridges and the exterior was totally refinished.
