Steinway & Sons Model D #424770 was built in 1971 at the Hamburg, Germany Steinway & Sons Factory and is in very good, pre-owned condition. Hamburg Steinway instruments are quite rare in the United States and are hard to find!

The piano’s cabinet boasts subtle reminders of its European heritage including round cabinet arms and a uniquely pointed music rack. The cabinet is completed in a polished ebony finish with a brass fallboard logo decal. Solid brass hardware contrasts against the sleek black cabinet. The piano's cabinet is in very good condition, while the legs show some evidence of use. The backbone of the piano, the cast iron plate features unique Hamburg Steinway-specific logos. The keyset features stunning one-piece ivory keytops and ebony wood sharps. The piano features the factory original pinblock, soundboard, and music wire.
