I have owned a Chickering & Sons #116 Concert Grand Piano, Serial # 94217, since 1985. The owner before me obtained the piano in the 1950's from a neighbor, Dr. Simonson, in Lantana, Florida. I do not know any history of the piano prior to the 1950's, other than according to the serial number, the piano was made circa 1900. The piano is in need of restoration as many of the strings are broken. Although I would like to know the cost of restoration, I am willing to sell the piano in an "as is" condition. It was made from beautiful Rosewood which is still in very good condition.
