I have a piano that has been in my family since 1940. Its unique history includes being discovered by my grandfather on a fishing trip to the McCloud River at the Wyntoon estate in Northern California. The Hearst Corp. sold it to my grandfather, and I inherited it in 2020 after my father's passing. After months of research, I learned that it is an antique Weber upright piano, built around 1889, made of Brazilian Rosewood in the carved Rococo Victorian style. Although one key does not play due to a missing hammer and one of the pedals is broken, I still play it occasionally despite its out-of-tune condition. I am reluctantly selling it due to medical issues.
