My Petrof Grand Piano was purchased new in late 2003 from Mathis Music, Sarasota FL.  A few months after purchase, I ordered a custom fit felt string cover to protect action and strings from any dust. Finish is excellent.  Recently tuned, 08/24/2021 and yearly throughout ownership. Located in my home away from windows so no fading or finish damage from sun exposure. Also, home is humidity controlled and a non-smoking environment. Piano tuner (name and number upon request) described all aspects as excellent and commented "It has everything going for it".  Soundboard perfect and action flawless. Unique, amazing, rich Petrof sound and impressive bass. Sound stood out from other brands I auditioned for purchase.  Matching bench included. I am 83. Sadly, in Dec 2020, in the space of 1 week, I experienced a sudden catastrophic hearing loss. My hearing has further deteriorated and loud sounds are distorted and intolerable. I find the joy of playing this beautiful instrument has vaporized. Thus, I have decided to sell my good friend of 18 years.
