I purchased this piano in 1988 at a Baldwin sale in Symphony Hall in Boston. It has been well-maintained and plays beautifully, with a well-regulated action and excellent tone, ranging from a powerfully resonant bass to a light, sweet upper register. Last tuned in late March 2026. I have enjoyed this piano for decades and would keep it if I could, but I am upgrading to a rebuilt pre-WWII Steinway. The new piano is now approaching completion, and it's time to make room for it.

As visible in the photos, the piano has various small nicks and dings, and it could therefore use cosmetic work. If you are more interested in how an instrument sounds and feels than how it looks, this piano could be the one for you.
