This Steinway Piano circa 1918. Owner has taken great care of piano. It has been tuned every 6 months. Original ivory keys.
The piano also has a humidifier. This was due to the piano developing Steinway-itis," a term affectionately used by piano technicians, refers to a bluish-green oxidation called verdigris that can occur around brass tuning pins in older Steinway piano actions, potentially causing heavy touch and slow repetition.
The piano went thru a total restoration and repair, by a piano craftsman and all issues were addressed and replaced on all affected parts. Please note there is some cracking to the piano closure as shown. This is a beautiful piano with much history.
