The piano is a mahogany Sheraton upright with purfling, model 9, made in 1909 and first sold in the Choraffa store.

The number 9 models are the ancestors of the P model, which enjoyed great success in the '30s.

The strings are crossed and the frame semi-open, the keyboard covering is ivory and the bass dampers are doubled.
