Measuring just under seven feet in length, Steinway & Sons Model B Grand Pianos have grown to become beloved the world over. Some even call it the ‘perfect piano’ due to the beautifully balanced performance a ‘seven-foot’ piano provides. Steinway Model B Grands are selected by professional and amateur pianists alike as their personal practice pianos. It is not uncommon to see these pianos gracing concert stages as well! These instruments were first introduced in 1878 and production has been consistent since that date at both the Hamburg and New York Steinway Factories.

Steinway Model B #489161 was built in 1984 at the Steinway & Sons Factory in New York. This instrument was restored and sold to a client in 2021 who recently traded this instrument back in to us in order to purchase a Model D Concert Grand. Our team has fully inspected this piano to confirm that this instrument has seen gentle use in a well-cared for home environment.
