Beautiful Steinway A (1889) - belonged to Gladys Hanson (a Broadway actress and one of film's first stars) then given to her grand-daughter before the current owner. Painstakingly refurbished in 1997 by Steinway in NY. Unlike most pianos of this genre, it was in excellent condition and still has the original ivory keys, music racks, footing, etc. It has never been moved or tuned by anyone other than a Steinway authorized technician. Remains in excellent condition. Certificate of restoration. Appraised with a replacement value of $85,000 in 2003 with an appreciation value of 5-10% per year thereafter. Proceeds benefit charity.
