Exceptional piano, Completely restored with original Steinway parts, in Excellent condition and hardly shows any use since its restoration. The piano produces excellent tone for this size piano; the piano is at pitch with an excellent tuning pin tension. Works as a beautiful piece of furniture but would love to find a home where piano is played and enjoyed

Originally made in N.Y Steinway factory in 1927 (Serial #235001), it was completely rebuilt in 2015 with 100% Steinway action/parts by AC Pianocraft (Alexander Kostakis). One recent evaluator commented, "it looks like restoration was completed yesterday". Very high quality restoration and has been lightly played since. Details of restoration below.

Beautiful-looking case:

- Piano was stripped to bare wood and completely refinished and lacquered
- New Key Bushings front and center
- New keytops and refinished Sharps

Included with piano is an adjustable artist bench. The piano also includes built in humidity control system.

Restoration included:
- New Soundboard and Bridges
- New Action with all German Steinway equipment (repetitions, shanks with flanges, backchecks, damper underlevers, hammers)
- New Pinblock - holding the torque of the tuning pins
- New Strings and Tuning Pins
- New Damperheads and back action restoration and modernization.
- Rebronzing of the harp
- Touch of keys is consistent from note to note; pedals work correctly
- Full regulation of Action and damper system.
If done today, the cost of this type of quality restoration would be more than $30,000 and would take several months to complete.
