The Baldwin Model C grand piano is essentially the same scale design as the Artist Series Model L with mostly furniture design changes. The classic model C has elegant curves that were replaced with a more modern angular look in later models.

This piano has the original soundboard – and what a soundboard! The tone is rich and projecting which is rare for a piano this age. The piano has a rebuilt action with new hammers, shanks, knuckles, flanges, whippens (repetitions), key bushings, front rail bushings, damper felts, as well as newer strings and tuning pins. The satin black finish has been refreshed and looks very good as well!

The action feels like a new piano since it was all rebuilt. The action weight is on the lighter side for a piano of its size. The pedal lyre assembly has also been re-bushed for a precise feel on the pedals as well.

We are very familiar with this piano since we sold it just a few years ago. The person who bought it traded it in for a 7-foot Baldwin. Our technicians went through and did substantial regulation bringing the piano to a high concert level of performance.
