Beautiful ebony 5’10” Howard/Kawai 550-C made in Japan, gently used by owner who is a concert pianist and Oberlin Conservatory Professor Emeritus. Piano was seldomly played due to availability of Steinways in the Conservatory but maintained in excellent shape and regularly tuned.
This is a lovely, highly touch-sensitive instrument with a clear, warm tone. Despite its age (made in 1972) it sounds almost like new. For its price, it would be a rare find for any aspiring pianist or piano enthusiast.
