This piano has a magical tone, especially in its upper register, and is a great instrument for the discerning pianist or serious student playing the standard Classical piano repertoire. Though it's rich bass (for its size) and warm tenor register will accommodate any style. Like most Steinways, this piano can handle extreme dynamic ranges--from the quietest piano to the fullest forte. The action is responsive and set to the perfect weight.

Well-loved and meticulously cared for, this piano is a former PianoDisc player--all components of which have been removed by a Steinway technician (there is a cut underneath the piano below the action, though this is not visible--it actually increases the brilliance, in my humble opinion). The piano sells as is. There are a few tiny chips and dings on the cabinet, though nothing out of the ordinary for a piano of this age. The soundboard, pin block, bridge, action, key tops, and Steinway-factory hammers are all in excellent condition--all original parts. A black vinyl Janson Artist Bench is included.
