In 2010, this vintage (88-key) Steinway was rebuilt under the leadership of John Foy RPT. And by "rebuilt" I honestly mean rebuilt. This piano received a new soundboard, new pinblock, completely new action parts, new strings ... basically, the works. It also received a stunning case refinish as you can see in the pictures. This piano is at a prime time in its life having had a dozen years of play-in and granular refinement of both the tone and the regulation.
