This Bechstein piano has a really remarkable sound; a delicate but powerful tone, lots of warmth and sustain - a quality only heard in Bechstein pianos (built in 1888 no less!).
The Bechstein Model V Grand Piano is a true masterpiece from the renowned German piano manufacturer C. Bechstein. With a rich history dating back to the 19th century, this instrument is a testament to the enduring quality of Bechstein's craftsmanship.
Standing at a length of approximately 6 feet, the Model V Grand Piano offers a classic design that exudes elegance and timeless beauty. Crafted during the peak of the Romantic era in music, it reflects the distinctive characteristics of instruments from that era. The soundboard, made from the finest spruce, produces a warm and expressive tone that's perfect for interpreting the works of composers from that period.
Notably, the Model V features the traditional Bechstein action mechanism, which is known for its precision and responsiveness, allowing pianists to achieve a high level of musical expression. This piano is a collector's dream, a piece of musical history that continues to captivate with its vintage charm and remarkable musical qualities, making it a cherished addition to any discerning pianist's repertoire.
All the pianos we restore come with a clean bill of health. That includes a soundboard and bridges in excellent shape or repaired, and a tuning pin lock in excellent shape. These are all aspects of the piano that are the most expensive to repair, so their health is very important and hard to discern to the untrained eye. When we refurbish a piano, we take a full factory style regulation process. We also polish each piano and tune them to A440.
Piano includes:
-Delivery
-Matching bench
-Tuning
-Warranty on parts and labor
ABOUT THE WORKING ARTIST:
As a pianist, piano teacher, and piano tuner, I wanted to create an outlet in Brooklyn for those who are seeking risk/hassle free, mechanically reliable, and cosmetically attractive upright pianos.
My passion is simple: I find excellent pianos to restore, refurbish, and reasonably price. I aim to make the experience of purchasing a quality instrument pleasant and hassle free, which is why I ensure that piano movers and tuners are covered in the cost of the piano.
I am trained in full service piano rebuilding, French polishing, concert piano tuning and repair/regulation. Additionally, I have a bachelors in piano performance from Indiana University, and have been a professional gigging pianist with a repertoire of jazz and classical music for 20 years.
My showroom is located on the border of Clinton Hill/BedStuy
in Brooklyn. Please respond directly to this ad to book an appointment today!
